Advancing Our
DEI Commitment
Our commitment to DEI is reinforced through our Diversity Statement, our CEO’s Action for Diversity and Inclusion Pledge, our Global Human Rights Statement and the ongoing efforts of our global DEI Councils to identify and prioritize DEI strategies and ensure accountability.
Guided by Firm Beliefs
Respect and inclusion are the foundation of the American Tower culture. Diversity provides a strategic advantage—it infuses fresh ideas into the business and helps us remain connected to our customers in a dynamic global market. Further, it enables us to leverage local talent across our global footprint. This helps us to relate to, understand and therefore better serve the communities where we do business. With a diverse employee and customer base, a steadfast commitment to DEI is a critical factor in our success.
Our DEI Strategy is Guided by Three Pillars:
People, Culture and Partnerships
People
People
Attracting, retaining and developing the best talent to meet the growing challenges of our industry, from hire to retire.
Culture
Culture
Increasing our connection to one another across our global organization and engaging in ongoing learning to ensure we foster a culture of inclusion for all people.
Partnerships
Partnerships
Engaging others to create mutually beneficial business opportunities, find and develop talent, and connect with the communities where we live, work and do business.

Statements and Policies
Diversity Statement
We believe that what makes us different also makes us stronger. Our philosophy of inclusion guides us in how we interact with each other, how we hire and manage our people and how we serve our customers. To ensure our workplace is free from discrimination and intolerance, we must leverage the diverse talent and skill of our team members, provide equal access to growth and advancement and treat each other with respect.

Equal Employment Opportunity Philosophy and Pay Equity
The role of each team member within the organization is important and your sense of well-being is crucial to our success.
Demonstrating a commitment to fair pay.
We define pay parity as ensuring employees in the same job and location are paid fairly, relative to one another, regardless of their gender or ethnicity. Women in the U.S. and globally earn $1 for every $1 men earn, and underrepresented minorities in the U.S. earn 99 cents to the dollar compared to non-minorities, adjusting for job and geography. For this analysis, pay included base pay, bonus and equity.
Equal Employment Opportunity Policy
American Tower has been and will continue to be an equal opportunity employer and takes steps to assure full implementation of this policy.
EEO Reports
The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) requires employers to submit an EEO-1 report on an annual basis.
