Bridging the Gap to Unreacheable Communities with RAN as a Service Innovation
ATC Kenya has developed an end-to-end communications solution called ATC Reach to enable our customers to cover communities that traditionally have been difficult to reach. ATC Reach offers customers a comprehensive package encompassing all the essential components required to establish operations in rural areas, including land, towers, power supply, Radio Access Network (RAN), backhaul connectivity, and managed services. As part of the ATC Reach Initiative, ATC Kenya assumes operational responsibility, allowing our customers the freedom to concentrate on core business priorities.
The ATC Kenya’s RAN as a Service (RaaS) solution provides modular and scalable towers – whereby the towers start at 15m, but are scalable, thus can be extended up to 40m as the communities in which they are deployed grow and require more coverage. Simultaneously, the RaaS solution is multitenant – in that it is designed to have multiple operators share the infrastructure and radio equipment, thus making provision of services in rural areas more affordable.
