ATC Ghana strives to provide a healthy and safe working environment for all our employees, to prevent pollution and minimise environmental impacts from our activities and to provide products and services which delight our customers. ATC Ghana is committed to achieving and maintaining excellence through the implementation of an integrated Safety, Healthy, Environment and Quality Management System which complies with ISO 45001:2018; ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
ATC Ghana management reaffirms its commitment to:
- The prevention of injury and ill health of our employees and suppliers through a continued improvement of our OHS management and OHS performance;
- Continually identify and review OHS risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventative actions to eliminate anyidentified hazards and reduce OHS risk;
- Promote open communication through the consultation and participation of employees, customers, contractors, interested communities and government bodies regarding any suspected and/or potential OHS exposure and its impact on ATC Ghana’s operations;
- Educate and raise our employees’ awareness about issues that impact their health, wellness, including the health benefits of physical activity and healthy eating;
- Provide the framework for setting and reviewing safety, health, environmental and quality objectives;
- Fulfil its compliance obligation of all applicable requirements with respect to the SHEQMS;
- Continual improvement of the quality management system;
- Prevent pollution and maintain a policy that will ensure continual improvement;
- Ensure the integration of ATC Ghana’s environmental management system requirement into its business processes.
ATC Ghana’s SHEQ policy shall be communicated effectively within the organisation and be made available to the public, shareholders and other relevant and interested parties upon request. The SHEQ management system, policy objectives and targets shall be reviewed annually by top management or earlier when necessary. This is to ensure the maintenance of the SHEQMS and its continual improvement.
At ATC Ghana, the health and safety of our employees is paramount and we are committed to abiding by all industry and government safety regulations and we expect our contractors to adopt these regulations as well.
