American Tower has been recognized as one of America's Climate Leaders 2024 by USA Today. This recognition is given to U.S. companies that achieved the largest reduction in Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions intensity. Research of publicly available data was conducted among 2,000 eligible U.S. headquartered companies to determine the list. 

American Tower has been recognized on Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Trustworthy Companies in America 2024. This recognition reinforces our reputation as a company that values its customers, employees and stakeholders, and is performing exceedingly well on a national level. 700 companies headquartered in the U.S. with a revenue of over $500 million were selected and ranked based on an analysis of extensive surveys and evaluations by Newsweek and Statista.

In 2024, American Tower was once again recognized by Forbes magazine as one of America’s Best Midsize Employers. The annual ranking recognizes companies from all industry sectors with at least 1,000 U.S. based employees. It is determined through industry reputation and an extensive independent survey conducted by Forbes and market research company Statista.

For the fourth consecutive year, American Tower was named to Newsweek’s list of America’s Most Responsible Companies. The annual ranking recognizes leading U.S. organizations in Environmental, Social and Governance performance.

American Tower President and CEO Tom Bartlett received the Nareit 2023 Individual Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Recognition Award. As Co-chair of Nareit's Dividends Through Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DDEI) CEO Council, Tom spearheaded efforts to enhance collective philanthropy among REITs through the DDEI Giving Campaign, which is funded by Nareit members to support charitable and educational organizations and initiatives that will help create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive REIT and publicly traded real estate industry.

American Tower has been named by the U.S. News & World Report as one of the Best Companies to Work For 2023-2024. This inaugural list recognizes 200 publicly-traded companies across sectors and industries to help job seekers make decisions about workplaces that may be a good fit for them.

American Tower was named to the Forbes list of America’s Best Employers for Veterans for the third consecutive year in 2022. Forbes first published such a list, which was compiled using feedback provided by veterans themselves, in 2020.

In 2022, for the third consecutive year, American Tower was named to FORTUNE magazine’s list of the World’s Most Admired Companies. The list acknowledges global businesses based on their reputation in a variety of areas, including social responsibility, innovation, effectiveness in doing business globally and ability to attract and retain talented employees.

The annual Forbes Global 2000 list includes publicly traded companies from more than 60 countries.
